I love you mom and dad. Thank you for this wonderful gift of life
Good morning, everybody, and welcome to another exciting podcast episode of Cinco Minutitos with Profe. On August 4th, 1995, I was given the gift of life. Shout out to my mother. Shout out to my pops. Shout out to everybody in before that. Cause you know, like the genetics are crazy with you know, like how many fertile eggs um a woman carries in the womb. So shout out to my grandmother and her mother and her mother and her mother and her mother and her mother. So just to that minute detail there. I feel very blessed to be alive and 31 years old today. I'm I'm very excited for what I have to learn, and I'm no longer fearful of what I feel like I had to learn. It's starting to get pretty clear for me as a mature young man that your word and your actions are everything, and that they must align to live with the utmost integrity and to be able to be the person you set out to be. I don't think it's a joke, I don't think it's to be taken lightly. I think there's too much religion, there's too much power, there's too much influence, there's too much opportunity in this world for you to not for you to not become the person you want to be. And so I put myself in that perspective because I am living my dream job, um, other than being a professional soccer player, which I did for a very short period of time. But I'm home. I am I am in my purpose, I am living my purpose. I get to wake up every day and touch another grass field, and I just feel very good about everything that I've accomplished so far. And I just want to say a few things on the accomplishments I've achieved. Manifestation is a very, very real thing. It doesn't happen to everybody, it's not for everybody because it's not that anybody has the capacity to do it, it's the people want the capacity to manifest. You have to be able to put yourself in a position of thought, of feeling, of spirit, and of action in order to achieve these great things you set out to do. And that's the first step. It's taking action. You can't you cannot be stagnant. You cannot not want to do something. You have to do something you don't want to do. You have to be uncomfortable with the uncomfortable. Sounds cliche and all that, but in my 31 years, that's what I've learned. That there are absolutes and that there's also absolutes in the or sense of the word. There are things that are absolutely non-negotiable for the code, for the integrity to be taken apart of, and there are things that are absolutely non-negotiable in terms of like what doesn't go into that code. But things are absolute now. It's very much black and white in terms of integrity, character development, and all that. And I say that to say that I'm not going to be perfect. Nor do I want to, but it's more so to hit the idea home that you have to try and give a very good effort to become who you want to be. Write it down. Have a five-year plan, goals, finances, all that. Everything you read in the self-help books, it's time to stop reading those books and implement. I remember from 25 to 30, I read like 50 of them. Jordan Peterson, How to Not Give a Um The Four Agreements. Just many of them. 12 Rules for Life. Just there's a plethora of books that you gotta read, but I think you have to implement, and that's where people fall short. So at 31, here I am, living it, document everything. You never know when you're gonna fade away with memories. You never know when those memories are gonna fade away, so might as well make them. Talk about them and be present and be unapologetically yourself. If you're weird, be weird. If you're unique, be unique. If you feel unique, feel unique. If you want to dance, dance. If you want to laugh, laugh. If you want to love, love. Now, love should always be automatic to your highest capacity in that moment, in that circumstance. But I think we're stuck in cycles of wanting to be somebody we're not. Which is, I guess, is part of being uncomfortable or comfortable with the uncomfortable, but life is short. Everything around me is older now. Everything around me is more fragile, even though I'm strong. And I just think it's important that you're not alone, that it really does take all to make a world, and then you have to let love the let love lead the way, and you have to be kind. You never know what people are going through. And remember, it's not always about you. I have this practice on my birthday where somebody surprises me and they want to take me out to dinner, or if I have a group of friends and they want to buy food, I buy the food because they're already celebrating me by showing up. And within that simplicity, I feel gratitude. I express gratitude, and I am gratitude, which I've said a lot about in the podcast. So today, it's a little bit monotone, but it just is what it is. I'm 31 years old, I am blessed, I love the world we live in, I love myself, and I want to keep growing and be the best version of myself. 31 only. I know I got a lot of life to live, but nothing is ever promised. Go be great, go be the best you, and go make sure you love people. But remember, you can't do it without loving yourself first. Thank you for tuning in with another episode of Cinco Minutitos with Profe. I'm 31.
