Cinco Minutitos with Profe
Talk is cheap: align your actions with words.
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
It’s as simple and as complicated as the title.
Your life will just be easier when you have nothing to hide and your character is revealed with the alignment of your word and actions. The rest is on your to measure your more compass.
Be kind. Let love lead the way. And remember that it takes all to make the world.
Do it for those you love. Be an example of good.
Good morning everybody. Welcome to another episode of Cinco Minutitos with Profe. You wouldn't believe it, but I'm back on my most precious place on this earth. El Chante. I love this place. I was talking to my sister and her husband Nathan yesterday about how this is maybe the one place I can actually maybe call home. Just of because of the familiarity I have within and the memories and the core memories I have here. And plus who who this place taught me to be. And it just shows you how the social stratification of socioeconomic status and all that has always been present. And how my great-grandpa, who was almost the president of Mexico, was able to buy this land. His father was able to buy land behind us. And you know, it just it goes on and on. Anyway, uh the topic of today I think is the importance of your word followed by action and how easily that could be compromised. Because I've I've I'm living that as we speak. As hard as it is, regardless of what you're hiding, regardless of the feelings you think you'll hurt, if you're honest with good intention, your integrity will never be compromised. Now you have to be honest with good intention, good moral, ethical grounds of discussing things or telling truths. And that's where you get started. To lie, right? When you're not doing the things that you say you would, or living the way that you wanted to, or saying that you would live a certain way, but then don't live it. I think that's where you start hiding things, right? When you do some something that you don't want somebody else to know. Just like you were like a little kid, and your mother's like, did you break the glass? No. And you're lying, right? But like, why'd you break the glass? Because your mom told you not to play soccer in the house, but then next thing you know, you're playing soccer in the house, and then boom, you score a banger on your brother, but you know you broke the glass and many other things, and so things that you shouldn't do lead to lies, and as a result, then your integrity is compromised, and just be mindful of that. A person is only as good as his word. Like, that's that's integrity. Like, does what you say and what you say you're going to live actually show up in how you live and what you're doing with your life. That's the true testament of character. When your actions and your words align. Because you just want people to believe you. You want people to have the benefit of the doubt that you're a good dude, that you're a good person, that you can show love for them. Because that's important. And so that's where I'm at today. Just I want to be so integrity-driven, so alive, so full in choice, so truthful in that choice that there's no question of why I'm doing what I'm doing. And I think that's important. And I'm happy about it, but I know it's gonna take time for people to see, especially those you've hurt. So give them grace, give them love. But remember, you weren't perfect to begin with. God knows you're wicked, you're a born sinner. And so have grace for yourself as well. But always have more grace for those you've hurt. Always. It's a beautiful world, it's a beautiful life, and you can make it more beautiful by just living a truthful life full of virtue, full of inspiration. But again, I say it again: your actions must align with the words you say, and your words more must speak on the way you want to live. And hopefully that's integrity-driven, full of love, full of creative imagination, everything. Let love lead the way, be kind, and please never ever forget that it takes all to make a world, and the last thing to never forget is something my mom always tells me. She tells me, even though I'm not there, just know that God is watching. And so that's it. That's the Cinco Minutitos with Professor. I hope you guys have a good day.
